For restoring painted metal or metal that needs extra UV Protection, Everbrite Protective Coating is a better choice. Everbrite is thicker than ProtectaClear and has additional U.V. blockers to protect from fading, chalking, corrosion and oxidation. Use Everbrite on surfaces that are exposed to alcohol. ProtectaClear is not highly resistant to alcohol. Do not clean with alcohol or use hand sanitizers on ProtectaClear coated surfaces.
