ProtectaClear is a tough, thin, clear protective coating that provides protection for metal from salt damage, tarnish, corrosion, and oxidation. ProtectaClear is scratch-resistant for metal that gets significant handling like railings, jewelry or other metal with high-touch or daily use. Once the crystal-clear coating is cured, it practically invisible, safe around foods, skin-safe, reduces the appearance of fingerprints and smudges on stainless steel, and protects copper and brass sinks, as well as copper counters from tarnish & water spots.
Any commercial coating can be scratched, however, ProtectaClear is tougher than most clear coats (H8) so the the cured coating is more scratch-resistant than other coatings. The self-annealing properties allow surfaces to be repaired without stripping the entire coating. ProtectaClear will blend to itself, resulting in a flawless finish.
